WordPress Multisite

Partnering with both general agents and dealers

As Toyota’s digital partner, we have delivered and managed both ongoing projects and individual initiatives for the general agent and the dealer association. Among other things, we developed a WordPress multisite platform where Toyota dealers can maintain a centrally managed, yet locally adapted, website. The platform also enables structured rollouts of new local websites, campaign sites, and content. We also work with continuous analysis, follow-up, and platform improvement.

A reliable support structure

To ensure smooth processes, we also offer a centralised support model. This allows Toyota’s dealers and the general distributor to receive assistance through clear case flows, rapid handling, and continuous optimisation - ensuring nothing slips through the net and all parties receive the right support at the right time.

Other Successful Initiatives

Toyota Gothenburg – Däckspecialen

The tyre business is significant for Toyota's dealers, and customers purchasing new tyres require substantial support. For Toyota Center Gothenburg, we therefore created a service for the purchase and maintenance of tyres and rims: dackspecialen.com. Two platforms with a shared codebase were developed. One is fully integrated with the Toyota Gothenburg site and consists of a booking engine that adheres to the Toyota graphical profile. The other is a large-scale solution where the top domain and profile stand alone; it also has expanded content with several add-on services. This solution is for all car owners, not just those with a Toyota. The solution has given Toyota Gothenburg better staffing, simpler management, and the tyre business has become significantly more profitable.

The Hybrid Relay

A campaign that combined competition and information, where real test drivers shared their experiences of Toyota’s hybrid models. Our job consisted of developing a digital campaign site, executing a smooth rollout of locally tailored landing pages for all dealers, and providing follow-up analysis. A successful campaign that provided potential customers with both inspiration and confidence.

Together with Toyota, we have created a digital ecosystem with a platform that is:

  • Structured for faster launches and a unified brand profile.

  • Supported by our centralised support model with our qualified Testers and Content Managers.

  • Flexible enough for local needs, yet built on a stable, common codebase.

Bombayworks and Toyota have a well-developed partnership based on trust and confidence in each other's competences. In our collaboration, competence in the car business from Toyota is added with the digital competence at Bombay, which develops digital solutions with the aim of supporting Toyota's dealers in their business
