“Since I started at Bombayworks, our Electrolux support team has doubled in size”

How come you started working at Bombayworks?

It all started with Julia, a fellow student who had already found her way to Bombayworks. She said, "You really should come work with us at Bombayworks”, and here we are, many years later, both still working at Bombayworks.

What’s the best thing about working here?

I’ve always loved that Bombayworks is such an unpretentious workplace with a very open atmosphere where you’re allowed to grow. We’ve got a real family vibe that I’ve never experienced at any other job. The fact that I also get to work alongside both competent and genuinely nice colleagues is why I’ve stayed as long as I have.

In what way do you feel you’ve developed at Bombayworks?

I’ve developed enormously since starting at Bombayworks. I began as a content manager in our Electrolux support team, which at the time was made up solely of colleagues from the Stockholm office. I was then offered to step into the role of team lead. The team has now doubled in size and includes members from all three of our offices. I’ve always felt that the company has believed in my abilities and given me freedom with responsibility, which has contributed massively to my development.

Your favourite memory from your time here?

One of my absolute favourite memories is from a conference in Åre a few years back, when our colleagues from India came all the way from Mumbai. We’ve always had a strong sense of togetherness between our offices, but finally meeting them in person, having previously only seen them in online meetings, was truly special. Having the opportunity to deepen our relationships despite the distance and also enjoying the Swedish fells together with them was an incredible experience.

What’s inspired you lately?

My team. We’re a close-knit bunch who help and support each other through thick and thin. The genuine care and willingness to help each other is truly inspiring. It creates a positive energy and a sense of security within the group that makes you feel motivated to do your best. Being part of a team where you know you’ve always got your colleagues’ support, whether things are going well or during tougher periods, is really something that gives me energy in my daily work.
