A dynamic Adobe Air application that is updated by UCMS. The information generated in the CMS is also distributed to saab.com.
Lowe Brindfors had the task of producing a widget associated with the launch of the Saab 9-3x.
The widget would be constantly updated with movies, slide shows, links and articles. In addition, users had the opportunity to comment on Saab news feed in real time.
The widget should be available in several languages and their respective marketing manager would be able to update their specific market-related information.
The Saab widget was coded intensely for 4 weeks in Adobe Air. In minimized mode it is active on the user desktop without stressing the CPU and flashes as soon as new information is available and unread. When the widget is maximized, random 3D animation were displayed. All content could also bew viewed in full screen.
In widget settings you could enter your market, which ruled the information and language of the widget. By using UCMS, Saab could create multiple languages and administrators who could only update the market with content.
Reflections and other graphics were dynamic and adapted itself automatically depending on the user's processing power.
