New website for Obaren on behalf of Creative Planet. Take part of blogs, DJs playlists and check out the latest events.
Obaren wanted to create a new website that stylistically better represents the club. They also wanted to update the functionality with a focus on music. This was done through integration with both SoundCloud and YouTube, with custom design applied to the players to fit with the overall design concept. There is also a blog where Obaren's eminent DJ's are able to easily post their own music tips.
Obaren.se is built in HTML with Bombay's uCMS framework as a basis. The focus has been on developing a seamless integration with both SoundCloud and YouTube, where the editor shouldn't have to use embed code, and where most of the image and text are downloaded automatically. The web site has a schedule of gigs and events. These can be uploaded in bulk using date guided publishing. Otherwise, virtually all the content on the website is dynamic and can easily be updated by the editor.
