Campbell Soup
New websites for the Campbell Soup on behalf of Campbell Soup. Get information about Campbell Soup, take advantage of products and catalog, find inspiration for dishes and more. The pages are built in HTML and is fully dynamic including integrations with recipe-, pictures- and product databases.
Assignment
When Campbell Soup were to create new sites they choose Bombayworks to produce them. The project was started by first going through and organizing all the flows of informationthat Campbell Soup uses. Recipes extracted from one database, while products are found in another, and finally images in a third. Furthermore, all updates that wew made in any of the various databases had to, in an easy way, be reflected on the websites. The result was, from a user perspective, a simple and intuitive system that handles updates within the system itself - all to make it easier for the administrator.
Solution
The websites are built in HTML, JavaScript. Major focus has been on the sintegration with the external databases, and how it is used by the administrator. The information gathered from the three external databases is grouped and structured in the system and eventually fed out to several different pages, both for restaurant consumers as well as regular household consumers.
